It’s December and it’s starting to feel like winter
When winter comes, people often ask me, “Isn’t it cold to wear a kimono?”👘❣
At our store, we have items to help you stay warm and enjoy wearing kimonos even in winter 🎵
(Limited quantities available ⛄)
[Scarves, shawls, fur 🧣]
First, the winter staple “scarf 🧣” ✨
We also have large shawls that cover your whole body, so you can feel safe ❣❣
Fur is also recommended as it warms the neck ✨
Due to the structure of kimonos, the neck area tends to be a little open,
so a scarf is recommended(*´꒳`*)🌙✨
Keeping your neck warm will keep you comfortable🎶
You can also wear your own scarf 🎵
[Gloves🧤]
Next, gloves are a standard cold weather item🎶
Kimonos have a structure where the sleeves (the part of the sleeves at the wrists) are wide open,
so it is recommended because cold air can easily get in through the gaps (*´꒳`*) 🌙✨
Long types are also available🧤
They wrap around your arms tightly, so they are recommended (*´꒳`*) 🌙✨
You can also wear your own gloves❣❣
From here, we will introduce recommended cold weather items for winter rentals⛄
[Warm innerwear (Heattech, etc.)]
Kimonos are inevitably worn thinner than usual,
so we recommend wearing warm innerwear such as Heattech❣❣
Also, recently, innerwear with high heat retention and cold protection has become available,
so if you are going to choose one anyway, we recommend choosing a more heat-retaining “warm innerwear”🎶
If you are renting a kimono, choose a loose-fitting item with a wide neckline such as a V-neck or U-neck so that the innerwear does not come out from the collar (*´꒳`*)✨
[Warm the details]
A winter staple: hand warmers⛄
If gloves alone don’t warm your fingertips, you can warm them up with hand warmers✨
They’re easily available at convenience stores,
so we recommend bringing some with you❣❣
[Keep your feet warm]
Warm leggings are recommended (*´꒳`*)
If you wear zori sandals, you will need to wear tabi socks.
If you wear tights, you may need to take them off when putting on tabi socksΣ(゚∀゚ノ)ノ!!
