For just ¥550, this insurance covers the cost of cleaning or repairs in case of unexpected issues during your rental period. ❣❣

Whether it’s a food spill, a light stain, or minor damage from everyday use, this affordable plan helps you enjoy your kimono experience in Nara with total peace of mind. ✨

 

💼 What’s Covered by the Insurance?

Our Kimono Safety Insurance covers a variety of items included in your kimono rental set at Waplus Nara.

The following rental items are eligible for coverage:

Kimono

Obi (sash/belt)

Zori sandals

Bag

Other accessories such as obi decorations, hair ornaments, and stoles

With this coverage, you don’t have to worry about minor accidents involving any of these items during your kimono rental experience in Nara.

 

🛡️ What Types of Accidents Are Covered?

✅ Here are some common examples of what our Kimono Safety Insurance covers:

The kimono gets scratched while walking

The obi (belt) is stained after falling in zori sandals

Your rental bag is stained after placing it on the ground

The hem of the kimono gets slightly wet from light rain

Mud splashes onto the kimono on a rainy day

A deer nibbles on the kimono, leaving dirt or damage 🦌

These are all examples of accidental damage that may occur during normal use, and are fully covered by the insurance.

❌ What’s Not Covered by the Insurance?

Please note that the following situations are not covered by our Kimono Safety Insurance:

Severe water damage (e.g. heavy rain or submersion)

Burns or holes caused by cigarette flames

Cigarette odor on the kimono

Strong lingering scents such as perfume

Damage caused intentionally or through excessive misuse

In short: Accidents from normal, reasonable use are OK – but extreme or careless cases are not covered. 🙇‍♀️

💰Insurance is only ¥550!

Kimono are delicate and easily damaged. 👘

Even minor stains from cosmetics, food, or mud may require professional cleaning and repair.

Normally, if your kimono gets soiled or damaged during rental, we charge ¥10,000 for cleaning and repair. 💦

 

However, if you sign up for the “Kimono Insurance” plan (¥550),
cleaning and minor repairs for accidental damage caused by normal use are free of charge. ❣❣

We strongly recommend signing up for this insurance to ensure you can enjoy your kimono rental in Nara with peace of mind. ✨

※Please note that there are some cases where coverage is not available, such as severe damage or intentional damage.
