💚~~Hello, this is Tea ceremony and Calligraphy shop Waplus Nara~~💚💗
We have received some questions from guests and we love that!
Today also we got it. They asked us “What is the Chabana in July? ” It is a good question.
July marks the height of summer in Japan, bringing vibrant greenery and seasonal blooms. In
traditional Japanese tea ceremonies, special flowers known as Chabana are displayed in the tea room
to reflect the beauty of nature and the changing seasons. We will show you some Chabana in July.
・Sotan Mukuge (Rose of Sharon)
One of the most beloved July Chabana flowers is the Sotan Mukuge, a variety of the Rose of Sharon.
Its pure white petals with a soft reddish center create an elegant and refreshing appearance.
・Dianthus (Nadeshiko)
Nadeshiko, often translated as Japanese Pink, is admired for its delicate petals and gentle beauty.
・Bellflower (Kikyo)
The star-shaped Bellflower, known as Kikyo in Japanese, blooms beautifully during the season of the Tanabata Festival in July. Its elegant purple blossoms create a calm and sophisticated atmosphere, making it a favorite flower in traditional tea rooms.

We hold three sessions daily at 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM.
Why don’t you come and experience a beautiful tea ceremony?
We look forward to seeing you💚💗
