Daily life of Waplus Nara

💚~~Hello, this is Tea ceremony and Calligraphy shop Waplus Nara~~💚💗

We have received some questions from guests and we love that!
Today also we got it. They asked us “What is the Chabana in August? ” It is a good questi
on.
Although August is one of the hottest months of the year in Japan, a traditional tea room offers a feeling
of calmness and coolness. One of the elements that creates this atmosphere is c
habana (tea flowers).
We will show you some Chabana in August?
・Hasu (Lotus) — A Symbol of Puri
ty and Summer Elegance
The lotus is one of the most meaningful flowers in Japanese culture and is also appreciated as a
seasonal flower in the tea ceremony during July and August.
Rising beautifully from the water, the lotus has long been admired for its pure and graceful
appearance. In Japan, it is also deeply connected with Buddhist traditions, making it especially
meaningful in places like Nara, where ancient
temples and Buddhist culture have flourished for
centuries.
・Sagisou (Egret Flower)
Sagisou is a beautiful wild orchid whose white flowers resemble a flying egret spreading its wings.
Its pure and graceful appearance brings a sense of freshness and coolness to the summer tea room. It is
especially admired for its delicate, artistic shape.
・Fuyo (Cotton Rose)
Fuyo blooms from late summer into early autumn.
Its large, soft flowers in shades of white and pink create an elegant atmosphere. Like mukuge, it is a
traditional summer flower often enjoyed in tea gatherings.

We hold three sessions daily at 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM.
Why don’t you come and experience a beautiful tea ceremony?
We look forward to seeing you💚💗
