Today We would like to talk a little about matcha.

 

Matcha is drunk all over the world, and

all of our customers who come to our tea ceremony experience

have already seen or drunk matcha before.

Matcha, also called tencha, is made by grinding tea leaves into a powder.

　　　　　　　　

Green tea and matcha are made from the same type of tea tree,

but matcha trees are grown under cover, which shades them from sunlight,

thus increasing the amount of theanine, the umami component of tea.
