About the manufacturing process of Matcha

~~💛🌸💚~~☆~~Hello, this is Tea ceremony shop Waplus Nara~~☆💚🌸💛~~

Today, I’m going to tell you about the manufacturing process of Matcha(^_-)-☆

Matcha is made from “tencha” (steamed and dried tea leaves), which is ground into a powder using a millstone.

【Matcha production process】
Grow tea trees under cover and pluck the sprouts.
Steam the plucked tea leaves.
Drying the tea leaves without rubbing.
Remove stems and veins.
Grind the leaves with a millstone to make a powder.

【Key Points of Matcha】
Matcha is made from the same tea plant as sencha, but is grown and processed differently and has different ingredients.
Matcha is more expensive than sencha because of the time and effort required to produce it.
Matcha ground with a millstone is very fine-grained, and its color and flavor are easily affected by oxygen and other substances, so it is recommended to finish it as soon as possible after opening the package.
The flavor of matcha is created by growing the tea plants out of sunlight to retain the flavor components.
