Today  we’d like to introduce Japanese traditional event in summer callled Tanabata.

Tanabata is an event based on the legend that Orihime (the weaver princess) and Hikoboshi (the star) cross the Milky Way to meet only once a year.

 

It is held on July 7, and it is customary to write wishes on strips of paper called tanzaku and decorate bamboo branches with them.

We also have Tanabata decorations in our shop.

After experiencing tea ceremony or calligraphy, why don’t you hang your wishes on the bamboo branches?
