The COOL JAPAN AWARD is an award that discovers and certifies Japan’s attractive products

and culture. This award is evaluated by foreign judges,

and products and tourist destinations are recognized as

“Cool Japan” Award winners can use the “COOL JAPAN Certification Mark”

and utilize it for overseas expansion and promotions.

The COOL JAPAN AWARD 2025 received a total of 418 entries in 2025,

submitted through self-nomination, third-party nomination,

and selection by the Secretariat’s curator network.

Following a preliminary screening by the Secretariat,

a secondary screening by 100 international judges,

and a final screening by special judges, 46 entries were certified

as award recipients. Among these, the Takayama Tea Whisk was selected.

In our tea ceremony, we use the prestigious Takayama chasen

that has received this honorable award.

The Takayama chasen is very intricately crafted delicate and you can whisk matcha beautifully.
