We have received some questions from customers, and we love that!

Today also we got it. They asked us “why do you have sweets before drinking tea in the tea ceremony ? ”

That is a good question!

There are two reasons. At first, in the tea ceremony, sweets are served first. This is an important

etiquette for allowing the sweetness of the sweets to bring out the bitterness and flavor of the matcha to

the fullest, making it even more delicious.

Another reason for having sweets before drinking Macha is reducing stomach strain. Matcha contains

caffeine, which can be quite stimulating if you drink on an empty stomach, so the sweets also serve to

protect the stomach.

We prepare a couple of sweets for you. Please enjoy them!

We hold three sessions daily at 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM.
