We have received some questions from guests and we love

Today also we got it. They asked us “Are there any

ceremonies like CHADO in other countries? ” It is a

good question. Answer is Yes. Around the world, many

countries have their own unique tea traditions

and customs. We will show you some of them.

・Chaina

　　　China has a long history of tea, and many different types of tea have developed over the centuries.

　　　These include green tea, white tea, yellow tea, oolong tea, black tea, and dark tea.

　　　China is also known for Gongfu Tea, a traditional style of preparing and enjoying tea.

　　　Using small tea utensils, tea leaves are steeped in hot water and served in small amounts, often

through several infusions.

・Morocco

　　　Far from Japan, Morocco has another fascinating tea tradition.

　　　It is Moroccan mint tea. 🌿🍵

　　　Made with green tea, fresh mint, and plenty of sugar, mint tea is one of Morocco’s most famous

　　　drinks.

　　　Serving mint tea to guests is an important part of Moroccan hospitality, and it is often seen as a

　　　symbol of welcoming and friendship.

　　　In Japanese tea ceremony, guests are welcomed through carefully prepared matcha and

　　　thoughtful hospitality.　In Morocco, mint tea plays a similar role in bringing people together.

・The United Kingdom

　　　The United Kingdom also has a famous tea tradition: Afternoon Tea. ☕️🍰

　　　Afternoon Tea is typically enjoyed with tea, sandwiches, scones, cakes, and other sweets.

　　　More than simply having a cup of tea, it is an opportunity to relax and enjoy conversation with

　　　family and friends.

　　　Of course, Afternoon Tea is very different from Japanese tea ceremony in terms of its history,

　　　purpose, and etiquette.　However, they share something important; Tea creates an   

           opportunity for people to spend meaningful time together.

The types of tea, preparation methods, customs, and traditions are all different. But each tradition has

developed in its own unique way, tea has played an important role in bringing people together

around the world.

We hold three sessions daily at 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM.
