💚~~Hello, this is Tea ceremony and Calligraphy shop Waplus Nara~~💚💗
We have received some questions from guests and we love that!
Today also we got it. They asked us “What is the Chabana in October? ” It is a good question.
I like that!
The summer heat begins to fade, the air becomes cooler, and the changing colors of nature bring a special feeling.
In October, autumn flowers bring a quiet and elegant atmosphere to the tea ceremony.
I will show you some of Chabana in October.
・ Gentian – Rindō
Gentian, known as rindō in Japanese, is one of the flowers strongly associated with autumn.
Its deep blue or purple color gives it a graceful and dignified appearance.
The cool colors of gentian beautifully reflect the clear atmosphere of an autumn day in Japan.
・Wild Chrysanthemums
Wild chrysanthemums, or nogiku, are another flower associated with autumn.
Their small flowers evoke the image of wildflowers blooming naturally in the Japanese countryside.
Tea flowers are not necessarily chosen simply because they are large or spectacular.
Instead, their natural appearance and seasonal character are appreciated.
Looking at a simple wildflower can remind us of the beauty of the autumn landscape.
・ Japanese Anemone – Shūmeigiku
Japanese anemone, known as shūmeigiku, is another beautiful flower associated with autumn.
Its delicate white or pale pink flowers have a light and graceful appearance.
Its gentle appearance creates a calm and elegant atmosphere in the tea room.
One of the most important ideas in Japanese tea culture is seasonality.
A tea ceremony is not only about drinking matcha.
It is also about appreciating the moment and sharing a special experience with the guests.
The flowers in the tea room may change according to the season.

We hold three sessions daily at 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM.
Why don’t you come and experience a beautiful tea ceremony?
We look forward to seeing you💚💗
