Kasuga Taisha Shrine is a popular tourist spot in Nara.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Established in 768, this shrine was built to pray for the protection of Heijo-kyo and the prosperity of the people\ud83c\udfb5<\/strong><\/p>\n

The head shrine of all Kasuga shrines in Japan\u2763\u2763<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“Meoto Daikokusha”, the only shrine in the country where a married couple of Daikokusama are enshrined, is popular as a power spot for marital harmony and matchmaking\u2728<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Kasuga Taisha has five sub-shrines and 56 subordinate shrines.<\/strong><\/p>\n

One of these sub-shrines, Wakamiya Shrine, is called “Wakamiya” and is famous for the “Kasuga Wakamiya Onmatsuri” \ud83c\udfb5<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wakamiya Shrine enshrines Amenooshikumone no Mikoto, a child deity born between the deities of the third and fourth shrines of the main shrine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u3010Goryo Shrine (Nara City)\u3011<\/strong><\/p>\n

A shrine founded by imperial decree of Emperor Kanmu in the early Heian period (800)\u26e9<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the left hand side after passing through the south gate is Shusse Inari Shrine, a sub-shrine known for its blessings in finding love\ud83c\udfb5<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is said that the famous Toyotomi Hideyoshi devoutly worshipped this shrine\u2763\u2763<\/strong><\/p>\n

In addition, red strings are tied around the feet of the lion dogs on both sides of the South Gate as a prayer for the lion dogs to stay put, and people come to pray for love, prosperity in business, etc.\u2763\u2763<\/strong><\/p>\n

Shinto weddings are also held in the worship hall\u2728<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u3010Isonokami Shrine (Tenri City)\u3011<\/strong><\/p>\n

One of the oldest shrines in Japan<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is said to be the chief deity of the Mononobe clan, a powerful clan in the Asuka period, and stands out among ancient beliefs<\/strong><\/p>\n

It has been worshipped as the guardian deity of health and longevity, recovery from illness, warding off disasters, and bringing good fortune, and achieving all goals\u2763\u2763<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since Isonokami Shrine enshrines a sacred sword, they sell sword-shaped amulets called “Goshinken Mamori”,<\/strong><\/p>\n

a talisman for revival based on the legend that the sacred sword in which the main deity resides, Hanitama, revived Emperor Jimmu and his army \ud83c\udfb5<\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s recommended when you want the power to overcome adversity, such as in relationships or financial matters \u2728<\/strong><\/p>\n
