Welcome to Tea ceremony and Calligraphy shop Waplus Nara.
\nToday, we would like to introduce how to express your individuality through calligraphy.
\nCalligraphy is called “Shodo” in Japanese.<\/p>\n

Calligraphy is not just about writing beautifully.<\/p>\n

Every brushstroke reflects the writer’s feelings, rhythm, and personality.
\nEven if we follow the same model, no two works ever look the same.
\nThe brush pressure, speed, and breathing all show the artist’s\u00a0 personality.<\/p>\n

This letter is Dragon, and it is called “\u9f8d\uff08\u308a\u3085\u3046\uff09\u201d in Japanese.<\/p>\n

These two pictures both show the “Dragon”.<\/p>\n

Each line and stroke brings out the spirit and strength of the dragon.
\nAlso, I want you to focus on the tail of the dragon. The dragon is flying in the sky, so its tail is written in a unique style.
\nIt is one of the\u00a0 perfect examples of how calligraphy allows you to express yourself freely.<\/p>\n
