We have received some questions from guests and we love that!<\/p>\n

Today also we got it. They asked us “What is the Chabana in August? ” It is a good questi<\/p>\n

on.<\/p>\n

Although August is one of the hottest months of the year in Japan, a traditional tea room offers a feeling<\/p>\n

of calmness and coolness. One of the elements that creates this atmosphere is c<\/strong><\/p>\n

habana (tea flowers)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We will show you some Chabana in August?<\/p>\n

\u30fbHasu (Lotus) \u2014 A Symbol of Puri<\/h2>\n

ty and Summer Elegance<\/h2>\n

The lotus is one of the most meaningful flowers in Japanese culture and is also appreciated as a<\/p>\n

seasonal flower in the tea ceremony during July and August.<\/p>\n

Rising beautifully from the water, the lotus has long been admired for its pure and graceful<\/p>\n

appearance. In Japan, it is also deeply connected with Buddhist traditions, making it especially<\/p>\n

meaningful in places like Nara, where ancient<\/p>\n

temples and Buddhist culture have flourished for<\/p>\n

centuries.<\/p>\n

\u30fbSagisou (Egret Flower)<\/h2>\n

\u3000Sagisou is a beautiful wild orchid whose white flowers resemble a flying egret spreading its wings.<\/p>\n

\u3000Its pure and graceful appearance brings a sense of freshness and coolness to the summer tea room. It is<\/p>\n

especially admired for its delicate, artistic shape.<\/p>\n

\u30fbFuyo (Cotton Rose)<\/h2>\n

\u3000Fuyo blooms from late summer into early autumn.<\/p>\n

traditional summer flower often enjoyed in tea gatherings.<\/p>\n
