About Hakama Plan

Items for Plan

The basic fee includes kimono rental, hakama, bag, Zori sandals, Tabi socks, dressing, and luggage storage service.

Return Time

Please return to our shop by 6:00 p.m.
You can also return the kimono by noon on the next day for an additional ¥1,100.

Steps for Renting a Hakama Plan

The hakama rental service is available for up 30 groups per day and is by appointment only. Please fill out the appointment form and include your desired date and time.
Please return the hkama on that day. There is an optional plan for returning it the next day.

    Outfit Selection and Hair Set

    Choose your outfit and have your hair set if you are renting a kimono. Discuss the location for the photoshoot with the photographer.

    Enjoy your short trip when you are ready. Please return to our shop by 6:00 p.m.

Features of Hakama Plan

The lace Kimono and retro Kimono allows the wide variety of coordination, and also a pair of boots can be coordinated with a Hakama (Pleated Kimono trousers) for easy walking.【Hakama Plan allows you to enjoy strolling around various places wearing a cute hakama freely.】The price is a flat rate of 5,500 yen (tax included), and you can choose your favourite Kimono from Japanese famous branded Kimonos and new Kimonos! In addition, cute ‘Kawaii’ hair set that matches your Kimono is optionally available for an additional fee of 1,100 yen.
* If you chose the next day return option (1,100 yen), you can enjoy the Hakama Plan for even longer period and more leisurely.

Yasaka Shrine

Yasaka Shrine is one of the must visit locations in the Gion Shijo district. The main shrine is believed to ward off misfortunes, disasters , and epidemics, and the Okuninushi shrine next to the main shrine is believed to bring good luck in matchmaking and marriage.
It is believed that if you drink the sacred water Biyousui and pray at Utsukushigozensha Shrine in the grounds, you will be re warde d with beautiful skin as well as beautiful soul.

Waplus Kyoto is a 1 minute walk from Yasaka Shrine! There will be plenty of time to enjoy photoshoots and the atmosphere in your favourite Kimono, even if you have a short period of time.

Kiyomizu Temple

Around Kiyomizu Temple (Kiyomizu dera), there are many scenic locations that represent traditional Kyoto, such as Ninen zaka, Sannen zaka, Yasaka Koshin do Temple, and Kodai ji Temple. The main hall of Kiyomizu Temple is called Kiyomizu no Butai (The stage of Kiyomizu), one of the photogenic locations in the grounds, which provides the city of Kyoto as a perfect backdrop for your commemorative photos.

Waplus Kyto is a 5 minute walk from Koshin do Temple and a 15 minute walk from Kiyomizu Temple
There will be plenty of time to enjoy Yasaka Shrine and Kiyomizu Temple by returning to the store by 18:00
