Our kimono rental shop is conveniently located within walking distance of Yasaka Shrine, Yasaka Kogen Shrine and Kiyomizu-dera Temple.
Kimono dressing and preparation services are available on the second floor of a 170-year-old traditional Japanese Machiya-style store. The first floor is a kimono workshop, where you can observe how a kimono is made, something that is rarely seen. We offer a wide variety of stylish Japanese accessories for sale.
10-minute walk(645m) east from Keihan Gion-Shijo Station (Exit 6).
Only a 1-minute walk from Yasaka shrine.
After coming out from Exit 6 of Keihan Gion-Shijo station, turn right. After coming out from of Hankyu Kyoto-Kawaramachi station, turn left.
You will see Minamiza (Kabuki theater) on your right.
Go straight down the shopping street until you see Yasaka Shrine.
You will see a traffic crossing in front of the Yasaka Shrine West Gate.
After crossing the street, continue right.
Turn left at the second street (the corner before a gyukatsu restaurant, “Katsuushi, 勝牛”).
Our shop is on the second floor of GIONKIMONO Shioriza.
We will prepare a full kimono style for you, including, for example, a kimono, Obi, kimono accessories, Zori sandals, lace Tabi socks, bags, hairstyling.
Please just bring yourself. We will take care of everything.
